SENECA is a project related to aerial images, high quality 3D city models, 3D cadastre, energy audit and web visualization.

The project is co-funded by Fondazione Cassa di Risparmio di Trento e Rovereto - CARITRO.

The two partners of SENECA are:
- Bruno Kessler Foundation (FBK) - 3D Optical Metrology (3DOM): 3DOM-FBK is actively involved in accurate measurements and reality-based 3D reconstruction problems. A consolidate know-how has been acquired in the development of metrology software and methodologies based on terrestrial, UAV, aerial and satellite photogrammetry as well as on triangulation and time-of-flight active sensors (e.g. laser scanners). The research group is devoted to geo-referenced and geospatial data analyses, 3D monitoring and modeling of landscapes, sensor and data integrations, environmental change detection, man-made structures digital reconstruction, derivation of metric and semantic information from images and range data, mapping and surveying, geomatics algorithms design and implementation, thermal studies and analysis, mobile mapping, GIS and cartography applications, cultural heritage documentation and digital preservation.
- TRILOGIS: Trilogis was established in 2006 by a group of founders with more than 20-yrs experience each in the research, dev., implementation and integration of GIS and related solutions. The company has grown to reach 20+ staff members and has a multi-disciplinary technical background in GIS (including indoor/outdoor GIS), SDIs, geographical web services, geoDBs and related technologies. Trilogis is certified ISO 9001-2008 in the area of design, dev. and maintenance of SW and it implements a total quality concept on production services. Trilogis is actively involved in a number of RTD projects, funded by the localgovernment, on indoor GIS technologies for integrated building management and eHealth services through use of indoor RTLS.
